A locale (maybe) in the Errant Road on-line free-form role-playing game. It doesn't exist in the Poe-verse; quite possibly, it doesn't exist in Errant Road, either.

Flamboyant (and now deceased) poet Porpington Bree, encountered on the road by PCs Argus, Drusia, etc., claims to be "Poet Laureate" of this place, to the complete puzzlement of the travelers, none of whom have ever heard of Smackton Hills. Given that Drusia and Sister Rose, in particular, know their way around Veracia pretty well, one would think that if the place existed, and was big enough to have a Poet Laureate, they'd have heard of it. Subsequent developments with Mr. Bree suggest that he is (was) not entirely on the up and up, so possibly Smackton Hills isn't either. Whatever.
