Chris is the stereotypical RPG-type, who is constantly asking for people to "join his party" to go with him on an adventure to join the legendary Ensigerum. Apparently, his long-lost father was a member of this organization of warrior monks.
He's not terribly bright. However, he was right about who his father was.
