A minor-to-moderately-important non-player character in the Errant Road on-line free-form role-playing game. Needless to say, she doesn't exist in the Poe-verse.
Annabelle is a member of the Eisenfaust, one of the shadowy mercenary groups that more or less run things in Farrel (in the Eisenfaust's case, their specific oyster is Port Lorrel). She is second in command and right-hand woman to the important NPC Elke, who runs what might be termed the "vice smuggling" division of the Eisenfaust that's based at the Lorrel waterfront. Her main job in this position is to "make it so," causing Elke's dicta to be carried out. In this capacity she has extensive and recurring dealings with PC Jamie Porter and the chaos that surrounds her, as well as some behind-the-scenes ... intervention with the group that comes calling at the World Traveler Inn early in the game.
She's competent enough and generally knows to keep her nose clean and do her boss' bidding without questions. Elke values her highly. Note that she is apparently not privy to all of the shadowy, conspiratorial stuff that Elke and her husband have been doing in the background ever since Errant Road got started. That's probably just as well.
