A magical rite performed in the Errant Road on-line, free-form role-playing game. As far as we know, nothing comparable exists in the Poe-verse, although magical rites being what they are, it's not out of the question. It's not to be confused with the very different Binding spell used on Sara Amraphel in the main story.

This ritual is performed by PC (and troll) Grope early in the game, connecting him to his unlikely ally, fellow PC (and non-troll, curiously enough) Lucas Ravanel, whose chaotic, random walk in life has become inextricably entangled with his own. One of Grope's many scars, sustained in a battle that also involves Lucas, now itches or burns whenever Lucas gets into a situation either crazy or life-threatening, respectively. Presumably the reverse is true, and Lucas' corresponding scar acts up when Grope is similarly at risk.

The other trolls Grope encounters during the game, notably his nephew Scrobian, can't figure out why Grope took this unusual step for a mere "Small One," as the trolls call humans, half elves, etc. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.
