A minor character in the Errant Road free-form, on-line role-playing game. Needless to say, he doesn't exist in the Poe-verse.

Lemuel's role has been quite minor, and he'd barely merit a mention at all were it not for one interesting fact: he's a golem. He's nominally a brother of the Veracian Church at the mission in Kiyoka, where he handles certain security functions, reasonably enough. Golem membership in the church isn't exactly routine, but the mission is more tolerant of such oddities than some other parts of the church. Besides, there's precedent for other interestingly high-powered golems in the world of Errant Road -- Ayiee, for example.

Lemuel is part of the party that follows the hidden tunnel beneath the mission to where it emerges into Heer Thar Be Draagons, the travel agency run by Lucas Ravanel. Events there and thereafter turn into an enduring plot point, as something freaks out Father Egbert sufficiently for him to go on the lam.
