Refuge-Nouveau is apparently a fairly substantial city somewhere in the northern part of the Confederacy, in the high country although not necessarily among the tallest mountains. It is notable as the home base of an outfit called the [[ER:Sisterhood|Sisterhood]] that exists to rescue women fleeing from the frighteningly misogynistic Confederacy city [[ER:Goriel|Goriel]], which is nearby by Confederacy standards, although still a few days' journey away.
