Kawaii is one of the five Paedagogusi. Her real name is Coquette, but she doesn't favor it. The name "Kawaii," which her sister Nookie abhors, was given to her by one of the Rinkai. Kawaii is a friend of Lord Cap'n Xander Kittysnoggins.
A character with a somewhat different design - but calling herself a "kawaii magical being" - appears in Jan 22, 2001 Exploitation Now [1] as the Shintou Faerie; she is commonly known to readers and forumites as the Baka Faerie.
Kawaii is also the Japanese term, or rather the English speaking anime fan's term for "cute."
