Leah is a resident of Santuariel, and a Half Elf like Ian and Riley. She is Riley's girlfriend, totes a single-shot rifle, and used to cough up blood before becoming the guinea pig for Ian's Omega-Heal power. She looks a bit like Yomiko Readman.
Her illness is now thought to be one of those intrinsic things that Errants have. It was at one time thought that, while a congenital deformity of the lungs might seem most probable due to her half-elf heritage, a pathogen such as Tuberculosis would also explain the symptoms and be common enough in a pre-antibiotic civilization. However, this seems to have been refuted by none other than The Poe; see discussion and quote in the Healing article.
