Sarine is an elven ranger. She has two swords. She is 3000 years old.

A long, long time ago, Sarine had a human mate and was pregnant with a half elven baby. Now, as a ranger, she hunts half-elves for a living.

Sarine is a mess of contradictions. Personality-wise, she tends to be somewhat withdrawn, but is also more then willing to spill the beans to anyone with the guts to ask. Outwardly, she dislikes humans, seemingly on principle, but one of the defining times of her long life were the 8 years she had a human lover. And even after several millennia, Sarine continues to mourn said lover in spite of herself. Sarine is probably one of the most skilled characters in the story. Sarine is a capable and nimble combatant who primarily uses a pair of short swords. Just the fact that she can pull off all those cool acrobatic feats in a breastplate and heavy greaves is pretty note-worthy. And she has some serious magic going for her. Most of Sarine's magic tends to be mental type effects, but she does also seem to have some straight blasting and healing magic as well. Its a triple threat hehe.
