Erm... I'd rather keep the welcome and the about the author bit (which was a good idea of whoever first thought of it). Erm... I don't like it. At all. In fact, I'm gonna go ahead and say it's blahtastic. Have all the categories on one page, similar to how Errant Story article is now (and how Victoria works). Easier to find stuff that way. We can have redirects to the proper category, too. The Baron 22:52, 23 January 2006 (CST)
If you want to have categories on a separate page, that's okay. Just use the actual Category:whatever-style page instead of manually created pages. So much easier to maintain, and generally looks a lot better to boot. The Baron 22:53, 23 January 2006 (CST)
