I’ve never been all that comfortable drawing armor on characters. It always ends up a horrible conflicted mess that fails to find a balance between appearance, practicality, and what I can realistically stand drawing more than once or twice. All of the armor used in ES has suffered from these problems. Sarine’s old outfit had that stupid breastplate I was never happy with, the Viradior armor has weird stuff going on around underarms and the sides of the torso, the Tsuiraku battlemage armor is just the fantasy bullshit chainmail with glowy bits on it design wise, and I’ve never actually drawn the arms and legs of the generic Elven soldier armor the same way twice.

Strangely, enough, the silly breastplates the Veracian guards wear might be the only armor I’m actually okay with.
