Modeled on http://themidlands.net/victoria/index.php?title=The_Midlands only less bloated... so far. Hopefully this will provide a framework for further work. Or somethin'. RMG 00:13, 18 January 2006 (CST)
This should probably be on the main page, since it gives a lot of blanks for people to fill in. --Wark 00:40, 21 January 2006 (CST)
Oh wait, there's a link. Nevermind. I'm an idiot. --Wark 00:51, 21 January 2006 (CST)
Hey guys... did a few maps for the countries, based off of the original black and white by Poe. --Kestenvarn 20:40, 21 January 2006 (CST)
Wow, the maps are AWESOME! Nice, Kestenvarn! -XStine 22:55, 21 January 2006 (CST)
Oy... that Support and Incidental character list is getting a mite large. Perhaps it is time to seperate the Support from the Incidental character? But how to figure which is which... -spiketail 04:50, 22 January 2006 (CST)
Oh... just noticed a somewhat large misnaming of an article... the article for Emerylon is under Emerlyon. Currently affects the article itself and the link to Emerylon in the Veracian Church article. Any way to change the article's name to match or just going to have to use [[Emerlyon|Emerylon]] from now on? -spiketail 06:02, 22 January 2006 (CST)
Is the Ozymandias article going to be eventually linked somewhere or just going to be left floating in wikispace for now?
I moved the Emerlyon page to Emerylon. There'll be a redirect, but hunting down the pages with the incorrect name and fixing them will make things cleaner. --Wark 13:27, 22 January 2006 (CST)
I also put the chapter summaries and the Ozymandias poem on the main Errant Story page. It's ugly as hell, though, so if you can figure out a better way, then by all means, go for it. --Wark 13:34, 22 January 2006 (CST)
How about a support character is anyone who plays an active but minor role in the plot? Everyone else is incidental until they play an active role, and then we just move them up?
Like, Polly, and Meji's Mom, and Ian's Mom, etc. would be bit characters. Anita and Warrel would be supporting characters. There should also maybe be a category for "Dead Guys." For like, Connel, and Val Sennel... they're only really important because of how they died. Maybe that would be a subsection of the Incidental characters... --Impy 13:44, 22 January 2006 (CST)
Making separate page for the Support Cast. Sorting from there... no idea. -spiketail 13:55, 22 January 2006 (CST)
Proposed numbering format for new strips...
Now that Poe's done away with numbering the pages, how about using ChapterXX:MonthXX.DayXX for the new format? (Ex. 20:05.15)
This is based off of ARB's character template. Good idea, but incredibly annoying as currently implemented. Tell me if the code works out alright, I was guessing. --Kestenvarn 05:12, 23 January 2006 (CST)
Text for faction standing could be replaced with something more descriptive if desired while keeping the color; for example, Jon Amraphel would have Gewehr Wraiths - Agent and Saus - Outlaw. --Kestenvarn 06:13, 23 January 2006 (CST)
Template looks pretty good, although the whole reputation thing is unnecessary (as I would imagine it would change over the course of the comic for some characters). Great quotes are also probably unnecessary--maybe a quotes section in each character's page? (Quotes are entirely subjective, and most of the time, they just turn out to be stupid and annoying.) The Baron 13:31, 23 January 2006 (CST)
Quotes we can leave out, then. The reputation thing is just something I wanted to have fun with, let people at a glance see what alliances each character had. Changing over the course of the comic wouldn' make a difference; this is a wiki, after all. }:D --Kestenvarn 16:58, 23 January 2006 (CST)
