Nessie is the (female) Ensigerum monk assigned to the task of watching over the sleeping Ian when he is captured by the Ensigerum, and is the first person on the scene when he wakes and starts up the whole divine wrath thing. Her main role thus far has to bring the rest of the Ensigerum to the scene and make comments about Ian's godlike attributes and lack of clothing. We don't know yet whether she's a full Monk, a Novice (although she seems a bit old for the title), an Initiate (same here), or something else.
