A locale in the Errant Road on-line, free-form role-playing game. As far as is known, it doesn't exist in the Poe-verse.
Ramanzel is the birthplace of the mysteriously fugitive (and recently deceased) Father Egbert, whose inexplicable departure from the mission in Kiyoka set all manner of game events in motion. It's a small town somewhere west of the larger Lorenzel, in southern Veracia. Where, however, is enigmatically uncertain, because there is a reasonably credible report (from Egbert's all-but-forgotten son Elric Kankaniel) that the village moves, and the surrounding forest helps cover its tracks. How can this be so? Unknown, but when Argus, Sister Rose, etc., visit, they discover that there's something to the story. It also appears to be protected by the spirits of the surrounding forest and weather, "Woody" and "Stormie," respectively.
Egbert's sisters Mildred Hamael and Lucy Kankaniel are also natives of Ramanzel, as is child bride Carly Bindiel, and based on Mildred's comments when she's interviewed at her home in Heamish, it sounds like a good place to be ... from.
