One of Meji's grandfather's servants, who appears briefly here. She serves the purpose of letting Gramps know that Meji finally has a friend her own age (Bani Igaaru), to Meji's embarrassment -- but then again, what isn't? She's also mentioned much later by Miyo Hinadori (Meji's mom), as a better alternative to the servant that Miyo's stuck with (i.e., Nanoa).
Not to be confused with the red-shirted battlemage Kenichi, who puts in a brief appearance as the adventurous crew is preparing to gate off to the far north.
