The largest of the elven races, the Sanguen started out in the highlands of Veracia and spread out to the southern half of the continent.
They might have made things easier and just called themselves High Elves, but no, they were too fancy for that.
Sarine Elle is of Sanguen extraction, according to Poe; see below.
