An elven playwright, not yet seen in the story but mentioned by Sarine. Few of his works have made it into the human world, or at least few had until Sarine decided to use a knowledge crystal bearing his complete oeuvre to barter for the book on the Lorenzel Excavations, which the pre-Anilisized Ian had sold. The owner of the bookstore ("Arcana Unearthed" -- hey, we're not writing the story...) knew a good thing when he saw one.
Whether Smerilon had anything to do with "An Elf Princess in Farrel" is unknown, but highly doubtful.
