Warrel is a monk of the Ensigerum order, charged with training Sara. He isn't particularly forgiving or particularly likable. According to Paul, he has several other unfortunate personality traits, too. He is, however, pretty good at vivisecting trolls.
Warrel accompanies Sara on her "initiation" mission, and picks up a nice stick save on a bullet fired by Jon and intended for the unwitting Winston Maurel. Despite this, there's no truth to the rumor that Warrel is a hockey goalie in an alternative universe. Probably.
He also appears to be quite dead after getting cut near in half by Sarine.
