As of 6 July 2007, the action is in [[Tsuirakushiti]], specifically in the pad of [[Meji's Mom]], who we've learned is named '''Miyo Hinadori'''.  Her recently-introduced housekeeper [[Nanoa]] has admitted two parties of visitors, one composed of [[Jon Amraphel | Jon]], [[Sara Amraphel | Sara]] and [[Ellis]] (the latter using all manner of colorful descriptions for Miyo, who calls him "the monster"), the other of a worried [[Sarine Elle | Sarine]], having extricated herself from the festivities at the [[warp gate]].  She has learned that her bluff with the [[portal mage]]s and their security force wasn't a bluff: the [[Elf | elven]] ambassador (the love-'em-and-leave-em specialist [[Rarune]]) really ''is'' coming to town soon, accompanied by an "honor guard" that Sarine and Jon suspect is coming along not for ceremonial reasons but to snatch [[Meji Hinadori | Meji]], or worse.  Sarine and Jon are trying to convince Meji (who'd rather stay to meet her dad, having forgotten what a bad idea this is) to go into hiding to avoid this unpleasant eventuality.  Miyo, for her part, would like to relive the one-night stand she had with Rarune about 18 years back, of which Meji is the result, and is a lot more upbeat about the prospect of Rarune visiting again than the others are.

As of 6 March 2012, time has advanced indefinitely into the future -- a future where, of all improbable things, a stunningly beautiful [[Sarine Elle|Sarine]] is actually ''[http://www.errantstory.com/2012-02-13/5426 smiling]''.  This unprecedented phenomenon shows up at the start of the Epilogue, where Sarine is relating the history of the [[Poe-verse]] now that the [[Common Era|Age of Meji]] has started.  (We've learned that that is the term for the age that started when [[Meji Hinadori|Meji]] defeated [[Ian Samael|Ianilis]]; see [[Eras of Errant Story]] for an explanation of the various ages and epochs.) Of course, that history isn't entirely without complications.  Meji has apparently succeeded in repairing much of the damage that Ian caused, and has forged some bonds that will keep the elves from ever attacking [[Santuariel]] again.  That's all good, presumably.  On the other hand, she has also tried to create a new earthly paradise by raising the sunken city of [[Malacia]] from the sea bed, and Sarine is implying that that didn't go completely smoothly.  Details are still lacking, however.

All told, the long, exciting Errant Story ride is coming to an end.  [[Hilary Hatch|Impy]] (who, we're delighted to report, is back among the living) has posted a time line of the Poe-verse that includes references to many stories and tales yet to come, so there'll still be more when Errant Story itself wraps up.  And, of course, [[Errant Road]] continues to be full of interesting characters.  So life in the Poe-verse is still pretty good, really.

Elsewhere in the [[Poe-verse]], nothing new.  Meji has mentioned to Jon that [[Ian Samael | Ian]] "did some teenaged magical godling angst bomb crap and disappeared," but we haven't seen anything in [[Santuariel]] or elsewhere to explain exactly what, where or why.  And we can assume that [[Anita]]'s murderous plans move forward, but no news on that front either.
