The cigar-smoking parrot familiar of Errant Road player character Rupert (Rip) Ricordiel. See Rip's page for more on what Thurston is like: in certain regards, like a feathered, cigar-smoking Ellis, although maybe with a less abrasive personality. (Or maybe not.) Needless to say, he doesn't exist in the Poe-verse, although parrot familiars very well might.
He has typically familiarish skills, being hard-wired with Translation and a snarky attitude. Perhaps less typically, he is apparently a father-to-be, following a brief assignation on the Southern Continent late in the game.
Not to be confused with one of the carrier parrots used by the special-ops branch of the Veracian army to stay in touch with Sister Rose, Brother Miguel, and whoever happens to be traveling with them.
