Senilis is a
god, one of the two(?) creators of the
elves,
dwarves,
trolls, and
Paedagogusi. We haven't seen him yet, but based on a
statue in
Sarine's long flashback narrative, he resembles a stag more closely than his
girlfriend. Another
statue in the gallery outside the chambers of the
Elven Council more or less confirms this. So does Sarine's sardonic
observation concerning the probable effect that seeing a statue of Senilis equivalent in scale (and anatomical correctness) to the
Great Statue of Anilis would have had on her psyche in her three-thousand-years-distant childhood.
It was Senilis who created
boobs, because it's funny when they jiggle.
