Meji Hinadori
From The Heretic Knowledge Vault
Meji is a half elf girl of seventeen from Tsuirakushiti, where she lives with her mother, her grandfather, and her winged cat familiar called Ellis. Her father, whom she has never met, was a Rinkai Erufu by the name of Rarune.
She is currently on a neverending quest (that is to say, to be completed within 3 months) to become an all-powerful demigod and get an A+ on her senior school project. Along her way, she has collected a human assassin, an elven ranger, and a fellow half elf.
Nicknamed 'Scary Little Devil Girl' by Jon back in Chapter 2[1].
She's nicknamed 'Scary Little Devil Girl' mostly due to her ability, and predilection to create massive explosions, fireballs, lightning and other forms of energy. Primarily directed at her immortal familiar Ellis.
Book of Spells
Meji seems to be a competent spell caster in the fields of blowing things up, and other destructive phenomena. Most of the time, she uses her magic on her flying cat as a form of torture and discipline although she also uses it for defensive purposes.
Meji also has other utility spells such as dimensional holes for storing things to invisibility and the infamous 'Deus Ex Machina' spell, which somehow seems to work. Through discussion and references throughout the comic, Meji doesn't seem to be able to use mind controlling magic well, one of the things Sarine uses in many instances.
Fireball - A basic for any would be mage. She also uses it against the thugs in Saus.
Explosion - Uses it on the tree in front of Jon when he is practicing his shooting, and on portal platform.
Acid Neuter Arrow - For use on Ellis.
Invisibility - Attempts to sneak into the archive with this spell, but it is dispelled. It worked better when she used it to escape annoying adventurer-wannabe Chris.
Pocket Dimension - Opens a black hole in the air and places her travel pack there for storage while she is on her journey.
Deus Ex Machina - A spell Meji created to invoke Deus Ex Machina, it is unknown if it worked or not, although coincidentally she found exactly what she was looking for after using it.
