An important NPC in the Errant Road free-form on-line role-playing game. Needless to say, he doesn't exist in the Poe-verse.

Peter is a big shot in the Errant Road version of the Gewehr, and in an acting role, an even bigger shot than usual owing to the temporary absence of really big shot "Mr. Gabriel" (Gabriel from Errant Story itself in a one-time cameo) on business in Veracia. He generally holes up in the Gewehr stronghold in Kugelheim and issues orders from there that are put into practice by underlings, among them Gewehr Wraith (and player character) Layla Sorensen and her mother Faye, a Gewehr big shot in her own right. Important NPC/henchman Ace, who's turned into Layla's main squeeze following the untimely death of her husband, is employed by Peter as an airship pilot, running a craft that had a number of unusual properties including the ability to go invisible. Alas, this remarkable contraption was blown up in a small encounter in Rinkaiel. Peter's reaction to this loss is not recorded, but it probably wasn't very warm.

There are occasional hints that Peter has ... other ... loyalties than simply to the Gewehr. He's known to be in contact with fellow NPC Elke, who occupies a role much like his own in the Gewehr's arch-rivals, the Eisenfaust. This by itself would probably render him persona non grata among his Gewehr colleagues, and he seems to interact with even more dubious characters than Elke from time to time. However, these interactions are unknown to his colleagues in the Gewehr, except to the extent that they lead him to give orders sometimes that his minions find strange.
